She took her to a series of ruins of a Bloodborne kingdom were she could sense survivors. One night Hysteria tried to kidnap Lust to show her a 'surprise'. She reasons that Hysteria was simply mirroring Mania's psychosis, and begins to pity her for the kind of life she must have lead with him, trapped with thoughts that weren't her own. She discusses with Pride some of the side effects of Altered Genesis, including a madness that could bleed into the minds of others. Greed and Envy began to follow her, but Lust told them not to bother. Hysteria then stabbed Lust in the shoulder blade and ran off. She was then blindsided by Hysteria, who proceeded to give Lust a big hug and whisper thanks in her ear. The Cardinals intervened, and Lust ended up killing Mania.

Mania attacked Lust, calling her out for being just like all the others that abused them for being born differently.

Their affinity however was cut short when she discovered they were born from Altered Genesis, with Hysteria even exhibiting some of the erradic side effects. Having worked with Lust in the past he knew of her skills as both a fighter and a tactician, and she soon became the de facto leader of the team, though he would sometimes challenge her decisions.Įventually Lust would meet two other Bloodborne, Mania and Hysteria. Lust was one of the members specifically recruited by Pride when he chose a team to escort Sloth to the Heart of the Universe. She became hardened and bitter.Īs the few remaining Bloodborne scattered to flee extermination from the Angels, she took to applying her wartime skills as a mercenary. Watching her people be butchered by the angels took quite a toll on Lust. Even still, she managed to retain a subliminal elegance to her new direction in life. Her classes in poise and elegance were replaced with tactical drills and combat training. Lust was still a child when The Blood Trials began, and her genetic background made her a perfect candidate for a new class of elite warriors. In truth, Lust's cluster was one of the last to be born with such innocent intentions, as future generations would serve a much more singular purpose. A testimate to the successes of Bloodweaving. While most were bred to serve specific purposes in society, they also served as living pieces of art - and none were more perfect examples than Lust's bloodline. Hers was one of the most regarded bloodlines, seen as a perfect harmony of physical beauty and intellectual prowess. I had mentioned on the booking it was my partner’s 40th birthday and they brought a plate with some macarons saying ‘happy 40th birthday’ written on it which was a thoughtful touch.Lust was born into a life of relative luxury and ease during the height of the Bloodborne Empire. We stopped off for lunch at Haute Cabriere and the scenery and the food were both excellent! I made the lunch reservation in advance via their website but it looked like it would have been possible to turn up on the day though as we were there in winter it was probably quieter than usual. Then it was back to the terminal where we rode the bus to the remaining 3 wineries. The places are all set up to collect you (on tractors!) and prepped for quick and friendly service for the wine-trammers. They even look after any purchased wines for you until the end of the day! We chose the red route and got the tram first at 10am, stopping off at 2 different wineries in the morning. There are plenty of wine tram around to help you understand the timetable and stops / collection times. The wine tram itself was also extremely well organised and great fun. It took about an hour to get there from Cape Town.

On the day the transfer and driver were excellent, prompt and friendly. It was all extremely organised, my only suggestion is it would be good to have had information on the booking confirmation that said something like ‘the time of your transfer will be confirmed with you the day before by 4pm’ because then I would not have needed to worry about contacting them. At around 3.30pm I received a call from the transfer company (Bluu) who confirmed our pick up time for the next day. The guesthouse owner kindly called them for me though and confirmed I was definitely on their list for a transfer. By 2pm the day before I still hadn’t heard anything and I was unable to call them due to my phone not working properly in South Africa. I emailed them on the Monday prior to our trip and received prompt reply to say it would be confirmed the day before. On the booking confirmation it stated I had booked transfers but there was no other information. We booked transfers from Cape Town via the wine tram’s website and this was the only part of the trip that could be improved upon. My partner and I had a fantastic day on the wine tram last weekend.
